Spread is a conal angle with the base of that cone being the surface you are hitting. The furthest I will go is if every bullet is atleast touching that center dot. My rule is that I will not use Heavy Caliber or Magnum Force if it makes the spread all go outside of the dot in the aiming reticle. I have the endo but no credits due to building a solo dojo and getting the Step Ephemeras. On a bullet hose weapon I think I'm fine as long as every bullet lands within the circle (half circles around the center dot) for accuracy. If I need to stop to line it up for more than a second then it's a waste.īut you have a point. I will take time to get headshots in order to do maximum damage, which ends up killing the enemy faster than someone who doesn't take time for headshots on a crit weapon. Point is, magnum force may or may not be appropriate to your playstyle. Stopping to line up headshots, because you built yourself into that box, is not utilizing Razorwing to its fullest. The point of razorwing is go fast get kills. The gain on accuracy is minimal and, in practice, does not overcome the loss of base DPS. You lose about 3k DPS by not using magnum force, even when paired with Augur Pact. They're just not all going to be headshots and that is why the above person didn't recommend it. Anything within 20m, which is most environments generated, is going to catch your bullets. Magnum force works just fine depending on how close you're willing to get to the enemy.
You have to find a way to stay in razorwing long enough for all the butterflies to die before you really start seeing the agro return to normal, and that's usually not the best way to use Razorwing (depending on how you maintain your energy, or the type of content you're running). Refreshing razorwing refreshes the butterflies. The butterflies that spawn with razorwing have an agro mechanic, which draws attention away from her.
